Mini Pizzas


Mini Pizzas

Ingredients
- 5 cups of flour
-1 tb yeast
-1/2 tb sugar
-1/2 tb salt
-1 tsp garlic powder
-1 1/2 - 2 cups of warm water
- Pizza sauce 
-1 chopped onion
-1 Sliced Jalapeno
-1/2 cup of sliced olives
-Chopped bell peppers
-Olive oil , for baking sheets



For the dough :
Combine the flour , salt , yeast, sugar, and garlic powder in a large bowl. Mix , then add the water.

 



Knead on a lightly floured surface until smooth. Dough should be soft and sticky. Let rest for 1 hour.  



Prepare your desired toppings while waiting for  dough to rise.



After one hour , start shaping your dough into small balls. Let rest for another 15 minutes. Preheat the oven to 500°F.


Flatten each ball of dough to your preferred thickness and size.
(You can use a rolling pin , I just use my...hands )
Place on a well-oiled baking sheet.



Spoon on the sauce , and add the cheese and toppings.

 

Bake until crust is browned and cheese is melted , about 5-7 minutes.

Spaghetti with Meat Sauce

 

Spaghetti with Meat Sauce

Ingredients :
1/2 Cup of Olive Oil
1 Garlic Head
1 Large Onion
1 Jalapeno (optional)
1/2 lb Ground Beef
1/4 Cup of Tomato Paste
4 Tomatoes
1/2 tsp of red pepper flakes (optional)
1/2 tsp of cayenne pepper (optional)
1/2 tsp of black pepper
1/2 tsp of Turmeric
1 tsp Salt
1 tsp Dried Oregano
1 Cup of Water




Instructions:
1. Puree the tomatoes and set aside.
2. Heat olive oil and add the (thinly) sliced garlic.
3.Add the onion and jalapeno and mix until golden brown.
4. Add the tomato paste and mix , then add the meat and the spices.
5.Add the tomato puree and let simmer for 5 minutes. Then add the cup of water , and continue cooking for about 25-30 minutes. Add the dried oregano near the end of the cooking time.   
6.Serve with spaghetti
